She supports our vision for the team and is excited be part of our SAQ family.
Bryce Murad
Coaching StaffBryce grew up in Storrs where he learned to swim at Gampel Pavilion. Before joining SAQ he had coached privately in Singapore, Norway, and was an assistant to the United Nomads club team in Windham, CT. Fun fact: Coach Jaime was one of Coach Bryce's SoNoCo swim club coaches during his age group swimming years.
His full athletic resume includes NE-10 Conference Championships, NE-10 All-Conference honors, National and Zone select-camp selections at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs in 2013. Between 2009-2012 he recorded thirty-five national top-ten finishes in age group swimming, with national first place honors in 50 free, 50 fly, and 200IM. In doing so, Bryce still holds Connecticut Age Group swimming records in 5 events for 11-12 boys, as well as 4 top 100 of All-Time performances for USA Age Group Swimming (currently ranking as high as #25). He also participated in basketball, soccer, water polo, lacrosse, and track growing up.
Outside of the pool, Bryce likes to keep up with technology, solve puzzles, play golf, shoot hoops, play guitar, travel, and build software products (including this website!)
Bryce loves all things technical and technique-oriented. He has a philosophy of excellence, curiosity, and always trying your best while keeping things fun. He coaches to give back to the community that raised him.
